Bethesda has announced that The Elder Scrolls Online will be free to play for a week starting from tomorrow until April 18 across all platforms.

Those who take part in the free play week, which starts on April 11th at 3 pm BST, will have full access to the base game without restrictions, gain 500 free Crowns (used in real money shop) and all progress made during the free week will carry over if you decide to purchase the game.

During the week, both The Elder Scrolls Online: Tamriel Unlimited (base game) and The Elder Scrolls Online: Gold Edition (base game and four major DLC packs) will be available at a discounted price. Bethesda has not offered any information as to how much either the base or gold edition will cost.

To take part in the free to play week, visit the PlayStation Store, Xbox Store, or Steam and download the game. Once the game is downloaded, you can create an account and login and play immediately.
