THQ Nordic has released a new trailer for Piranha Bytes’ upcoming sci-fi/fantasy action RPG, ELEX. The new trailer is a short prologue leading up to the point where the players enter the world.

The prologue trailer details how the world (Magalan) was forever changed following a comet impact that caused earthquakes and firestorms throughout the planet. From the ruins of the world, three factions emerged The Berserkers (Fantasy), The Clerics (Sci-fi), and The Outlaws (mixture). However, while these three factions clashed a fourth faction arose, The Albs, this fourth faction harnessed the power of the Elex, an unknown element that was brought to the planet when the comet crashed.
