Insomniac Games condemns immigration ban

On January 31, 2017 by Aaron Meehan

Following President Trump issuing an immigration ban on several majority Muslim countries, Insomniac Games – creators of Ratchet & Clank and Resistance – released a video statement condemning the ban.

“We in Insomniac Games stand united in strongly opposing President Trump’s immigration ban, there is no question that these order will harm us as a company and many of our key members.” stated, Insomniac Games’ CEO Ted Price. “Is discriminating based on religious faith or national origin American? Absolutely not. This is a deplorable, discriminatory act that we and many others across the nation believe is patently unconstitutional.”

On January 28th, President Trump ordered a 90-day immigration ban on those coming from Iran, Iraq, Syria, Sudan, Libya, Yemen and Somalia. Including the seven countries, there is a 120-day hold on allowing refugees into USA and an indefinite ban on refugees from Syria.
