Idea Factory International has released the opening movie for the latest Neptune spin-off game, Superdimension Neptune VS Sega Hard Girls.

Superdimension Neptune VS Sega Hard Girls sees IF take up the mantle of the protagonist, although the likes of Neptune and Nepgear are still in the game, (I’m sure the game will have a joke about it). The Sega Hard Girls, who have teamed up with Neptune and IF are based on a collaboration project between ASCII Media Works’ Dengeki Bunko and SEGA the Sega Hard Girls are made up of various Sega consoles, including the Dreamcast, Sega Saturn, and Mega Drive! In many ways, the Sega Hard Girls are similar to the CPU goddesses of the Neptunia series as they are also consoles turned into girls. I wonder how odd it will be for the Sega Hard Girls’ Dreamcast to meet Neptunia’s Uzume Tennouboshi (in Neptunia VII she is shown as an anthropomorphized Dreamcast console).

Superdimension Neptune VS Sega Hard Girls will be available October 21st, for the PlayStation Vita.
