Titanfall 2 single player announced, coming this October
During EA’s E3 2016 press conference, Respawn Entertainment revealed Titanfall 2’s single player campaign and its release date.
The EA press conference offered several bits of information regarding Titanfall 2. The first big of information was Vince Zampella, CEO of Respawn Entertainment confirmed that the game will be released on PlayStation 4 alongside the Xbox One and Origin for PC. Following the confirmation of a PlayStation 4 release, it was revealed that the game would be released worldwide on October 28th.
Moving on from the release date, a Titanfall 2 single player campaign was announced. For those who didn’t play the first Titanfall game, Titanfall 1 was a multiplayer only game and as such, Titanfall 2 is our first major look into the Titanfall universe. EA’s post press conference Titanfall 2 press release offered the following single-player information.
In single player, Titanfall 2 will deliver a crafted experience that explores the unique bond between man and machine. Playable offline, the single player campaign in Titanfall 2 will let fans step out onto the Frontier as a Militia rifleman with aspirations of becoming an elite Pilot. Stranded behind enemy lines and facing overwhelming odds, players must team up with a veteran Titan to uphold a mission they were never meant to carry out.
