Have you ever wanted to be a sentient corn? Well if yes, Finish Line Games has announced Maize, a game involving talking corn, inept government conspiracies and more.

Maize is a first person action game that involves players solving puzzles, meeting talking oddities (one of which is a grumpy Russian knock-off of the most technologically advanced toy ever created: Teddy Ruxpin), and of course solving mysteries such as why and how two government scientists decided to make sentient corn. Maize will supposedly have a large emphasis on humour and mystery; with the announcement press release going as far as to state the game is “Channelling elements of Monty Python and the funnier episodes of the X-Files.”
