20th Century Fox has released the first trailer for the movie adaptation of Ubisoft’s Assassin’s Creed series.

The Assassin’s Creed movie will focus on the character of Callum Lynch (Michael Fassbender) who experiences the adventures of his ancestor, Aguilar, in 15th Century Spain. Callum discovers he is descended from a mysterious secret society, the Assassins, and amasses incredible knowledge and skills to take on the oppressive and powerful Templar organisation in the present day.

The Assassin’s Creed movie will be available in cinemas in December 2016.
