Grand Kingdom beta announced
The beta, which will run from May 3rd until May 10th, will allow players to use four of the game’s thirteen classes (Fighter, Hunter, Witch, and Medic) from the game to complete two quests from the single-player campaign. The main aspect of the beta will be the game’s online war. For those unsure of what this means, the PlayStation Blog post that announced the beta gives the following answer, “It’s a pretty big component of the game in which you choose a nation to support, then take all the steps necessary to lead them to greatness! Everything from voting on battle strategies and developing defences and weaponry to jumping into the nitty-gritty of laying waste to an enemy squad.”
For those wondering what Grand Kingdom is about, NIS America states the following.
As the leader of a mercenary squad, players will assemble a team to lead across a battlescarred continent to complete contracts for each nation. Players may also hop online to form an exclusive contract with one of the Four Great Nations, and participate in war with other players for the future of Resonail.
If you are interested in taking part in the beta, visit the Grand Kingdom beta website and fill in the beta application form. While Grand Kingdom is due for release on both PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita, the beta will only be available on PlayStation 4.
Grand Kingdom will be available on PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita on June 21st in North America and June 17th in Europe.
