NCSoft has today announced that their latest MMO, Blade & Soul, will launch in Europe and North America on January 19th.

While the official release date for the free to play title is January 19, individuals that purchased the Disciple and Master Founder’s packs will be able to reserve their in-game names on January 11th, and the head start period for Founder’s Pack owners will begin on January 15th.

The martial arts focused MMO, Blade & Soul has proven to be a successful game with the title currently enjoying success in its native South Korea where the game was released in 2012. The game has proven to be so popular that its story, which centres on revenge and redemption, was made into an anime called Blade & Soul in 2014. The anime is currently available for viewing on Crunchyroll, and it was released on Blu-Ray and DVD in the UK and Ireland earlier this week.
