Ubisoft has announced that they are extending the Rainbow Six Siege closed beta to October 4th, giving players another three days to put the game through its paces.

Apart from extending the beta by three days, Ubisoft is opening up the beta to even more testers by sending current testers additional beta keys that they can send on to their friends or whoever they wish.

Ubisoft has also provided information regarding matchmaking speed and success rate. The information from Ubisoft can be seen below.

  • PvP matchmaking has improved with an average wait time of 30-45 seconds.
  • Terrorist Hunt has a 96% success rate per matchmaking attempt, with average 20-30 seconds of wait time.

I am currently playing the closed beta, and I will release a video and written first impression piece on the game in the not too distant future.

Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Siege will be available December 1st, for PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
