Ubisoft offer free content as an apology for AC Unity issues

On November 27, 2014 by Ash Meehan

To apologise for Assassin’s Creed Unity’s numerous issues Ubisoft has announced that the game’s Dead Kings DLC (release date TBA) will now be free and that season pass and gold edition owners will get one free game.

While getting a piece of DLC that was originally supposed to be paid content is good, season pass and Assassin’s Creed Unity Gold Edition (Gold includes season pass) owners will receive one free game from a select list of six Ubisoft titles. These six titles are:

  • The Crew
  • Far Cry 4
  • Watch Dogs
  • Assassin’s Creed Black Flag
  • Rayman Legends
  • Just Dance 2015

Now if you are thinking of buying a season pass to take advantage of the free game offer, there is no need to bother as Ubisoft is discontinuing sales of the season pass for an unknown amount of time.

If you have being out of the loop and are wondering what were the issues with Assassin’s Creed Unity, well the issues included crashes, character’s faces not appearing, getting stuck while falling etc. For my thoughts on Assassin’s Creed Unity take some time out of your busy schedule and give SG Gaming Info’s Assassin’s Creed Unity review a read.
