Slightly Mad Studios talks about Project Cars features

On September 10, 2014 by Ash Meehan

While filming at the famous Brands Hatch Circuit in England, Slightly Mad Studios‘ Creative Director, Andy Tudor and championship driver, Oliver James Webb talk about some of the key features in Project Cars. Check out the video below.

In the video Andy Tudor and Oliver James Webb explains how they take the on track real-life racing experience and attempt to translate that into a racing simulation. This approach stays through to the introduction and first point of a Project Cars fact sheet that was emailed to me by the game’s publisher Bandai Namco Games. The point reads as follows:

“Project Cars is the most authentic, beautiful, intense, and technically-advanced racing game on the planet.

Guided, tested, and approved by a passionate community of racing fans and real-life drivers, Project Cars represents the next-generation of racing simulation as the ultimate combination of fan desire and developer expertise.”

If you wish to read my opinion on Project Cars, you can check out my preview of the PS4 version of the game.

Project Cars will be available November 21st for PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. A Wii U version of the game will be released in 2015.
