Hatsune Miku to make her western 3DS debut next year

On July 2, 2014 by Aaron Meehan

As Hatsune Miku’s western popularity continues to grow, Sega has announced that they will be releasing Hatsune Miku: Project MIRAI Remix in the West on Nintendo 3DS in 2015.

Hatsune Miku: Project MIRAI Remix will be the third Hatsune Miku game released in the west, following the 2013 release of Hatsune Miku: Project Diva F for the PS3 and Vita, and Project Diva F 2nd, which is due out later this year.

Hatsune Miku: Project MIRAI Remix, which is an enhanced version of the Japan only Hatsune Miku: Project MIRAI 2, will continue with the rhythm-based theme of previous Hatsune Miku games, but this time the characters are cute chibi versions of themselves.

To get an idea of what to expect from Hatsune Miku: Project MIRAI Remix, check out the below trailer for Hatsune Miku: Project MIRAI 2.

It really is amazing and surprising to see Hatsune Miku and her fellow digital stars begin to take hold in both Europe and North America.
