Get you first look at Halo: Nightfall, the new Halo live-action series
Today, at San Diego Comic-Con 343 Industries and Scott Free Productions gave Halo fans their first look at Halo: Nightfall, the new original live-action digital series that is set to release this November on Xbox.
Official series description:
Halo: Nightfall introduces a pivotal new character, Jameson Locke, a legendary manhunter and agent with the Office of Naval Intelligence (ONI), Earth’s most powerful and secretive military branch. When he and his team are caught in a horrific biological attack, they unravel a plot that draws them to an ancient, hellish artifact, where they will be forced to fight for their survival, question everything, and ultimately choose between their loyalties and their lives.
Halo: Nightfall will be bundled with Halo: The Master Chief Collection and will be accessible digitally on Xbox Live beginning on November 11, 2014.
Halo: Nightfall is one of two live-action projects planned by Microsoft. Another Halo live-action series is scheduled for release in 2015 and will be produced by Steven Spielberg.
Halo: Nightfall is not the first live-action Halo series in 2012, 343 Industries released Halo 4: Forward unto Dawn a short web-series that setup the back-story Lasky, a character that would feature in Halo 4 as a key member of spaceship Infinity.
