Halo: The Master Chief Collection announced
Love Master Chief and own an Xbox One. Well 343 Industries has announced Halo: The Master Chief Collection for the Xbox One. The collection will include all four released Halo titles and some tempting extras.
The Halo collection will allow you to play through Halo: Combat Evolved Anniversary, Halo 2 Anniversary, Halo 3 and Halo 4 in 1080p 60fps. The collection will also have every campaign mission unlocked from the start so you will be able to play your favourite mission from day one. For fans of the multiplayer, you will be pleased to learn that the gameplay in at least Halo 2 Anniversary will remain unchanged, but all 100 multiplayer maps will receive the 1080p 60fps tune up.
Now what are the extras? Well Halo: The Master Chief Collection will include access to the “Halo 5: Guardians” multiplayer beta (beta launches in late 2014) and “Halo: Nightfall”, an original “Halo” live action digital-series by executive producer Ridley Scott and directed by Sergio Mimica-Gezzan. The digital-series will introduce Halo 5 to a pivotal new character in “Halo 5: Guardians” (It is the character that features on the Halo 5 box art, but I have forgotten her name).
Halo: The Master Chief Collection will cost $59.99 and will be released on November 11, 2014 exclusively for Xbox One.
