Watch Dogs finally gets an official release date

On March 6, 2014 by Ash Meehan

After been delayed for several months, Ubisoft has announced that their open world hacking themed game, Watch Dogs will be released worldwide on May 27th for PS4, Xbox One, PS3, Xbox 360 and PC. The Wii U version still has no release date.

Watch Dogs was originally announced at Ubisoft’s E3 2012 press conference with high praise from various media outlets. In February it was revealed that the game would be released on Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, PC, Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and Wii U. It was also announced that the game would be released on November 19, 2013 (November 22nd in Ireland and UK) and as such be a PS4 and Xbox One launch title. However, Ubisoft announced the game would miss the release date and wouldn’t be released until 2014. Now after all the waiting and one delay it looks like Watch Dogs is finally coming out.

To celebrate the release date announcement Ubisoft has released an all new story trailer.
