Hatsune Miku: Project DIVA F now out in North America
Today, the PS3 rhythm game, Hatsune Miku: Project DIVA F has being released in North America. The game was released after fans of Hatsune Miku reacted positively to Sega asking if they wanted the game brought the west.
Hatsune Miku: Project DIVA F will feature 38 unique songs including Tell Your World and Black Rock Shooter. Players will also be able to create their own Miku videos in “Edit Mode” and customise the game’s characters with over 90 costumes and 100 accessories.
For those who don’t know anything about Hatsune Miku. Hatsune Miku is an ever increasingly popular singer in Japan, but she has something that separates her from the competition. She isn’t real, she is a virtual singer created by Crypton Future Media’s voice synthesiser program called Vocaloid. Her popularity mainly comes from the fact that anyone can create a song via Vocaloid and have it sung by Miku.
While Hatsune Miku is a Japanese singer, western audiences have taken a liking to her. Their love for Miku can be best seen back in 2011, when Miku and other Vocaloid characters packed the Nokia Theater in Los Angeles for the first ever western Vocaloid concert.
Below is a video from a Hatsune Miku concert in Japan. The song is called World is Mine.
For those who live in Europe, Hatsune Miku Project DIVA F will be released on September 4th for the PlayStation 3 via the PlayStation Store (Europe is only getting a digital version the game).
