Classic Edition trailer

In celebration of the classics mode, Codemasters will be releasing two editions of the game: F1 2013: Standard Edition and F1 2013: Classic Edition. The major difference between the editions is that players who buy the Classic Edition will be have access to two classic circuits Imola and Estoril, 1990s and 1980s content pack which includes a selection of tracks and cars and drivers from both decades. The standard F1 2013 version will only include the 1980s content pack.

Drivers and cars from these packs include:

1980s – Mario Andretti, Nigel Mansell, Emerson Fittipaldi and Gerhard Berger, Williams, Lotus, Ferrari and more
1990s – David Coulthard, Jacques Villeneuve, Eddie Irvine, Alan Prost, Williams and Ferrari and more

If you can’t buy the Classic Edition, the classic circuit and 1990s content pack will be available as optional DLC shortly after F1 2013 is released.

To go along with the announcement Codemasters has released two videos of hotlaps on both Silverstone and Nurburgring.
