Ashes Cricket 2013 delayed, game is set to miss first ashes series

On July 30, 2013 by Aaron Meehan

If you were looking forward to playing Ashes Cricket 2013 while watching the test matches, I have bad news for you. 505 Games has announced that Ashes Cricket 2013 will be delayed until November. This means the game will miss the entire first series.

This is not Ashes Cricket 2013 first delay. The game originally due out in June for PC and consoles but in June, 505 Games announced the game would be delayed until July and now 505 Games has being pushed back to November.

In a press release regarding the delay, Tim Woodley, Senior Vice President Global Brand & Marketing for 505 Games, said: “Unforeseen issues which developer Trickstar faced in latter stages of development have meant that they have been unable to do the requisite amount of polishing and fine-tuning which any game needs. We owe it to ourselves, to our licensors, the ECB and Cricket Australia, but most of all to the dedicated cricket fans and gamers to put our best foot forward.”

The only real saving grace for the title is the fact that there is a second Ashes Test taking place in November in Australia.
