EVE Online and DUST 514 taken offline due to DDOS attack

According to EVE Online’s official twitter and Facebook, CCP Games is currently under a “under sustained DDOS attack”. This attack has forced CCP to take their website, EVE Online and DUST 514 offline.

CCP made fans and players of their games aware of the incident via the official EVE Online Twitter page. The tweet said the following:

UPDATE: EVE Online, DUST 514 and affected sites are back online. CCP Games CEO, Jón Hörðdal Jónasson, released a statement about the downtime.
