Former NIS America employees Nao Miyazawa, Jack Niida and Hiroko Kanazashi, have come together to create a new publishing company called, acttil. Actill is an independent game and digital contents publisher.

According to last night’s press release, “acttil will focus on bringing fun, creative games and digital contents such as eBooks from around the world that will target PC, consoles, web, and mobile platforms.” Acttil has also stated that they will be focusing on delivering games that are adventurous and unique.

Jack Niida founding member of acttil, LLC, had the following to say about the new company.

“We are optimistic with the current digital content environment. It is quite promising for independent developers and we would love to work closely with them and help achieve their goals”

Acttil has stated that will not only publish games for independent developers, but that they will also provide marketing expertise, analytics, monetization strategies, game feedback, and promotion/sales plans. Acttil will also provide localization services such as translation, editing, package design, and advertisement design.

If you are wondering why the three named their company, acttil, well they have a little explanation on their website. The company has six core values; acceptance, creativity, teamwork, trust, innovation, and love. If you take the first letter from the six previous words you get acttil.
