Assassin’s Creed IV Black Flag debut screens and trailer released
While the trailer and screenshots early for Assassin’s Creed IV, Ubisoft has now officially released the official debut trailer and screenshots for the newest Assassin’s Creed game.
A second trailer has also being released introducing the games new protagonist, Edward Kenway.
Along with the debut screenshots and trailer, Ubisoft has released some information about the game.
Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag will be set in year, 1715, and it takes place in the pirate rules Caribbean. Players will be able to explore Kingston, the capital city of Jamaica, Nassau, the capital city of the Bahamas and many more. Exploration isn’t just limited to land as players will be able sail the open waves of the Caribbean and dive underwater in search for treasure.
Players will also be able to take control of a brand new character, Edward Kenway, father of Haytham and grandfather of Assassin’s Creed III’s main character, Connor. Ubisoft has given a given an overview of Edward, part of which can be read below.
Edward Kenway is a young, brash Welshman born to an English Father and Welsh mother. He is charismatic and clever, but has a recklessness that borders on pathological. He is generally kind, but naturally selfish, and has a habit of valuing his own ludicrous ideas long before he will consider sensible or rational approaches to any problem. And he enjoys his drink, much to the detriment of his vital organs.
Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag will be available November 1, 2013 on PlayStation 3, Wii U, Xbox 360 and PC. A PlayStation 4 version will be released at a later date.
