Wii Mini to land in the UK and Ireland on March 22nd

Nintendo has announced that the miniature version of the popular Nintendo Wii, Wii Mini, will be released across the UK and Ireland on March 22nd.

The key characteristics of the Wii mini are that it is smaller than the original Wii, and comes in a matte black with a red border. The Wii mini also includes a red Wii Remote Plus and a red nunchuk controller.

What is the difference between the Wii and Wii Mini? The main difference between the two console types is that the Wii Mini no internet capabilities, so if you wish to use Netflix and other online applications than the Wii Mini is not for you. Other features removed from the Wii Mini includes, no GameCube compatibility and no SD card slot.
