World Tekken Federation will be free with Tekken Tag Tournament 2

Namco Bandai has announced that the World Tekken Federation (WTF), the premium online service for Tekken Tag Tournament 2, will be available for free when the game launches on September 14, 2012.

WTF will give Tekken players the chance to interact in a social community platform to all you to track your personal statistics against the world, create and manage teams with friends, compete in online events and discuss intricate strategies with others.

“With TEKKEN TAG TOURNAMENT 2, the team is committed to providing an unparalleled fighting game experience and are proving our dedication to this effort by offering World Tekken Federation free of charge to everyone who buys a copy of the game,” said Carlson Choi, Vice President of Marketing for NAMCO BANDAI Games America Inc. “Bringing together TEKKEN fans from around the globe in such a robust online community is a first for the fighting game genre and will give veterans and beginners a chance to develop their fighting skills in an exciting new way.”

Tekken Tag Tournament 2 will be available September 14, 2012 for the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360.
