New Sims 3 expansion introduces seasons

EA has announced a new expansion pack for The Sims 3 called Seasons. The new expansion brings seasonal activities, festivals and more this November.

In the upcoming expansion players will be able to experience all four seasons from warm summer days to the freezing temperatures of winter. Sims will be able to build skills in various activities which include snowboarding, penalty shoot outs and more. Players will also be able to experience seasonal festivals which will see you bob for apples in fall, visit the face-painting booth in summer and more.

In the announcement press released Ryan Vaughan, Producer, The Sims said:

“The Sims 3 Seasons offers players not only the opportunity to interact with weather, but also the ability to really get into the mood of each season and tell meaningful stories with their Sims, Since the launch of The Sims 3, Seasons has been one of the most highly-requested themes by our players. The seasonal changes in this game offer incredible realism, simulating nature in a way that is unprecedented for The Sims.”

The Sims 3: Seasons will be available November 2012 for PC and Mac. A copy of The Sims 3 is required to play the upcoming expansion.
