Codemasters has announced that F1 2012 will be released in the UK on September 21st. To go along with the release date a new developer diary regarding the games new features has being released.

The new features include the young driver test, hot lap, improved controls, flashbacks and strategy.

The young driver test is an introduction to the game and it will act as the games tutorial, teaching the players about the nuances of racing an F1 car.

Hot laps will be narrated videos by F1 TV pundit Anthony Davidson. This feature is to show racers the optimal line to take on the various tracks.

F1 2012 will be available September 21, 2012 for Xbox 360, PC and PlayStation 3.
