EA has officially confirmed that Battlefield 4 is been developed by DICE and that a Battlefield 4 beta will be taking play in fall 2013.

To take part in next year’s Battlefield 4 beta you have to pre-order Medal of Honor: Warfighter Limited Edition before the game release on October 23rd.

At present there are no details about Battlefield 4, but according to EA information regarding Battlefield 4 will be revealed at a later date. While EA has not revealed any information on BF4 the release date for the beta seems to point towards a possible winter 2013 release date.

Frank Gibeau, President of EA Labels explained why the Battlefield 4 beta will be bundled with Medal of Honor Warfighter “Though Battlefield and Medal of Honor Warfighter each offer players a completely unique experience, they are united by their underlying technology base – Frostbite. These are two of the hottest shooters, coming together to deliver a one-two punch of action, intensity and shooter entertainment.”
