Bohemia Interactive has today announced that Carrier Command: Gaea Mission will be released for PC and Xbox 360 on September 27, 2012.

Bohemia Interactive founder and CEO Marek Španěl in today’s announcement said “I and my brother Ondrej were addicted to playing Carrier Command on our Atari ST. In fact, it was what inspired us to develop games ourselves. Now, almost 25 years after the original was released, it’s exciting to see our re-imagination, Carrier Command: Gaea Mission, finding its way to the massively expanded PC and immense console gaming audience.”

Bohemia Interactive also revealed today that they have partnered with Masteronic to distribute the PC and Xbox 360 copies of the game across Europe.

Also on a note on whether there will be any differences between the PC and Xbox 360 versions Korneel van’t Land, PR manager at Bohemia Interactive said “The content, in terms of missions and modes, will be the same.” So Carrier Command fans don’t worry you will be getting the complete Carrier Command: Gaea Mission experience from both the PC and Xbox 360 copies of the game.

Carrier Command: Gaea Mission was named Game of the Expo by ourselves at E3 2011.
