Following the new agreement with Formula One Codemasters has announced that F1 2012 will be released in September for Xbox 360, PS3 and PC.

F1 2012 will see the introduction of a new mode called Young Driver Test mode. This mode will be used to introduce players into the world of Formula One through a range of tutorials explaining how to handle racing’s most exciting and responsive cars, and challenged to earn a drive from a team for the 2012 FIA Formula One World Championship.

To mark the announcement of the game and new mode Codemasters has released a video called Games Vs Reality. The video features many young drivers talking about how the F1 games have helped them prepare for test days etc.

F1 2012 will feature all of the official teams, drivers and circuits from the 2012 Formula One season, including the debut of the 2012 United States Grand Prix at Austin, Texas and the return of the Germany’s Hockenheim circuit.
