Codemasters sign new agreement with Formula One World Championship

Codemasters are set to continue to develop official Formula One games after it extending its partnership with Formula One World Championship Limited in a new multi-year agreement.

The new agreement will see Codemasters develop and publish multiple titles for consoles, PC, mobile devices and online platforms.

In the press release about the new agreement Bernie Ecclestone, Formula One group CEO, said: “Codemasters has created some of the best and most successful FORMULA ONE games to date. We and the teams work closely with them and look forward to creating more award winning games together in the future.”

Codemasters to date have sold more than 5.5 million F1 games since 2009. F1 2011 became the best-selling 3rd party racing game of 2011.
