Today Blizzard has announced an Italian version of World of Warcraft. The new localized version is set to be released later this year.

For those who already own World of Warcraft and are looking at getting Italian localization than you will be able to download a free language.

Those who have not bought WoW will be able to buy the Italian version online or at retail stores. Players will also be able to by Italian versions of all released and future expansions via digital and retail stores.

The Italian version will make it the eleventh official supported language and the seventh supported language in Europe, following English, German, French, Spanish, Russian and Brazilian Portuguese.
