Star Wars: The Old Republic beta has ended

On December 6, 2011 by Aaron Meehan

As of yesterday testing has finished for Bioware’s mmorpg Star Wars: The Old Republic and Bioware have set out instructions on how to uninstall the game.

The instructions are pretty basic, but they are in place in case someone has the beta still on their PC when the launch version is released. The instructions also reveal the size of the launch client which will be approximately 19GB, but you will need at least 27GB of free memory.

For help to uninstall the beta client check out the forum post over at http://www.swtor.com/community/showthread.php?p=11786689#edit11786689.

Also Eric Brown, CFO of Electronic Arts (EA) announced that 725,000 users logged on during the Thanksgiving weekend and the average log in time was 12 hours over the 3 days. Thank you to Eurogamer for these figures.
