Microsoft has announced that on December 6th the brand new entertainment experience update will arrive on the Xbox 360 and will be free for all console owners.

The update will see a newly designed user interface, expanded voice control with Kinect and the first group of new entertainment custom applications.

The new custom applications include applications for television, movies, videos, sports and music, all of which will be rolled out to more than 20 countries.

Microsoft will also include numerous social features and a cloud storage system for games saves and Live Profile, beacons and Facebook sharing.
Finally enhanced family settings will be added to the Xbox 360.
