Yesterday, it was announced that Unreal Engine 3 will be getting Adobe Flash player support.

The announcement was made by Epic Games Chief Executive Officer, Founder and Technical Director Tim Sweeney at Adobe MAX 2011 and to prove it gameplay of Unreal Tournament 3 playing on the flash player was shown.

The gameplay shown was real-time experience on the newly released Adobe Flash Player 11.

Tim Sweeney said “With UE3 and Flash, games built for high-end consoles can now run on the Web or as Facebook apps, reaching an enormous user base.” “This totally changes the playing field for game developers who want to widely deploy and monetize their games.”
