Sony hacked again

On October 12, 2011 by Ash Meehan

Yes, after the hack in April and the supposed beefing up of security Sony has been hacked up again.

It is reported that 93,000 accounts have been breached which are spread across Sony’s PlayStation Network, Sony Online Entertainment and Sony Entertainment Network accounts.

According to gamesindusty.biz only a small fraction of accounts accessed showed activity which indicated that only a few of the accounts had their data compromised.

There was a post on the official PlayStation Blog which confirmed the incident by it stating “These attempts appear to include a large amount of data obtained from one or more compromised lists from other companies, sites or other sources.”

Sony has said they will be e-mailing all customers who were affected by this hack.
