Irish gaming league organizers G4X have announced the start of the G4X European Gaming League tour in Ireland.

The league will tour various counties throughout Ireland and in early 2012 the tour will head to Ireland’s capital Dublin for the EGL final.

The first EGL location has already been announced, which will be in Revolutions bar in Waterford City on October 8, 2011 which is the same location as the first gaming night which was covered by SGGamingInfo earlier this month.

After the last event there has being numerous changes as announced by Richard Anderson on the G4X website.

• More PS3 choices.
• Extra TVs.
• All starting tournaments have a pre-booking process available.
• Tournament rules have been changed to correspond with professional tournament rules.
• 4 PCs will be available for Starcraft 2.
• Extra console for FIFA, with the new FIFA 12 game.
• Retro game corner.
• Racing games.

The EGL tour matches will put your wins and losses on the night on the EGL Leaderboard and the points system will remain the same for the tour which is 3 points for a win and -1 point for a loss.
