Final F1 2011 developer diary now out
Codemasters have released the final developer diary for the upcoming racing game “F1 2011”. The developer diary this time focuses on the season updates and the introduction of the safety car.
The season updates are the official updates that were made to the Formula 1 season which includes the KERS power boost, the DRS which allows drivers to get extra acceleration in certain areas of the race and finally the new Pirelli tires.
The big news for Formula 1 fans is the safety car which was one of the most requested features to be put into this year’s game. In the press release for the new video Stephen Hood, Chief Games Designer said “Safety car – a lot of people have been asking for it. We’d always said we’d only do it when it was absolutely right, so now it’s available in single player and multiplayer”.
