Blizzcon is the Mecca for Blizzard fans and as usual Blizzard has a virtual pet for all attendees and for those who watch via pay per view.

This year the tradition of it been a Murloc pet continues, with this iteration of it being a cross between a World of Warcraft and Diablo 3.

The virtual pet will be called Murkablo and as usual it will be exclusive to World of Warcraft, so if you are going and don’t have WoW you could give it to a friend who does or do what a lot of people seem to and sell it on EBay.
But there’s more.
Not to leave the Starcraft 2 players out in the cold they will also receive a yet to be revealed in-game gift.

BlizzCon 2011 takes place on October 21-22 at the Anaheim Convention Center. The tickets are sold out but you can purchase a virtual ticket for £24.99/€29.99.
