New details on what maps we will see in Halo: Combat Evolved Anniversary has being revealed. At Halo Fest we saw 3 new maps announced. 2 multiplayer maps and 1 new firefight were revealed.

The maps are Timberland, Prisoner and Installation 04. For more details on them read on.
Timberland is a reimagining of the multiplayer map from “Halo PC” and is set in the classically alpine environment which is familiar to Halo. Timberland will support 8-16 players and it has terrain which is perfect for big vehicle battles.

Prisoner is a “halo: Combat Evolved” map which has being recreated for the anniversary edition. The map is a multi-level facility with tightly-woven corridors and many bridges and ramps. Prisoner will support 2-8 players.

Finally we have Installation 04 which is a firefight mode map. Installation 04 will bring Halo fans back to the iconic environment in the Halo universe. Installation 04 takes place on one of the cliff sides of Alpha Halo. The firefight mode will see you and 3 ODSTs fight for survival against waves of Covenant forces as you wait to be rescued. Installation 04 will support up to 4 players.
