EVE heads to Japan and new trailer

On July 8, 2011 by Ash Meehan

Yesterday it was announced that EVE would be finally heading to the Asian market, well specifically Japan. An agreement was reached between CCP (the creators of EVE Online) and Nexon Co (who operate 14 mmo titles in Japan) to fully localize the game client and product services.

But Japanese gamers who can’t wait to get their hands on EVE don’t have to wait long to join the Tranquility server as the localized version will be out in Japan this fall.

Seung-Woo Choi of Nexon Co. had this to say on the agreement.

“We are pleased to have this opportunity to be a part of CCP’s ongoing plans to provide premium services to their subscribers, our shared commitment to quality and excellence is the ultimate cornerstone from which to build an even greater gaming experience for Japanese video game enthusiasts.”

But before we finish CCP released an EVE Incarna trailer entitled “I Was There”.
