Direct2Drive Vision Award Amnesia: The Dark Descent

As you can see in the IGF there were once again 2 dominant game which were Amnesia: The Dark Descent by Frictional Games (3 awards) and Minecraft by Mojang (2 awards).

The overall winner of the night has got to be Minecraft which went away with a combination of 5 awards total. This is shown to be even better by the fact Minecraft is still in a beta stage of development and that it started with one man Markus “Notch” Persson and later he added new staff and the studio Mojang was born. With the thrill of Minecraft high and with over 1 million sales how long will the thrill of this sandbox, creation game last?
