Also I want to add something new here which I like to call my pick of the week.
My pick of week has got to be Pokémon Black/White. Pokémon is my pick of the week because while it takes what the Pokémon series has done right and expands upon it by adding full 3D cities and has a seasonal effect.
The seasonal effects are a step up from the day/night cycle which was introduced in Pokémon Gold/Silver. This new season effect which allows you to experience a season once a month. The effect of the season change how often a type of Pokémon appears (Basically there could be a Pokémon that appears a lot in winter but rarely in Summer, so you have to wait until winter to stand a better chance of catching it),the environment also changes depending on the season for examples areas you couldn’t reach in Wummer could be reachable in Winter etc.
Pokémon Black/White has already seen great success in Japan with over 2 million sales in 1 week after it was released in September 2010. But the question is can we expect the same kind of sales in the UK and America?
