Rift release date and pricing scheme announced
Trion Worlds MMO Rift now has a release date and its pricing scheme reveal.
The announcement of the release date (and the fact they are now taking pre-orders) and pricing scheme came via their facebook page
The release date for Rift is March 1st 2011 for North America and March 4th 2011 for Europe
The pricing for the game was announced to be:
Digital Standard Edition: $49.99/€49.99/£34.99
Digital Collector’s Edition: $59.99/€59.99/£39.99
Retail Collector’s Edition: $79.99
Standard Edition comes with:
- Founder’s pricing (you get a discount on the monthly fee which puts it down to $9.99 a month)
- An ingame item and pet (see the product detail link for more detail)
- 30 days free play
- Beta access and head start access (begins Feb 24th)
Digital Collector’s Edition come with:
- Everything that the standard edition offers
- An ingame bag which give you room to store 24 items
- A mount that can be used at level 20
- An exclusive ingame pet
Retail Collector’s Edition:
- Everything from the digital collector’s edition
- A 8gb Rift USB drive
- Rift soundtrack
- SteelSeries Gaming Mouse Pad
- 128-page Hardcover Comic

6 month subscription fee: $9.99/month, €9.99/month, £5.99/month
What you you will be billed every 6 month: $59.94 / € 59.94 / £35.94
