SGGamingInfo asks Valve about Advanced Combat Pack 2

On March 18, 2010 by Aaron Meehan

Not long ago I send Valve a question via their support forums (since there appears to be no helpful marketing email address around) regarding when the “Advanced Combat Pack 2” (aka ACP 2). There first response was less then thrilling as I explained who I was, asked the question and sent a p.s. if they could send me an email for the marketing staff which handles steam related sales etc. Here is Valves 1st response.

Hello Aaron,

Thank you for contacting Steam Support.

Please follow the link below to contact the developer for this title:

Title: Stargate Resistance

Please let us know if you experience further difficulties, or if you have additional questions or concerns.

Your probably asking yourself why would they direct me to the SGR website? I was asking myself that too when I received the response. It had appeared my question went completely unnoticed by the member of staff that replied to me.

So I asked them the question also asking why they refused to answer my question and once again asked for any contact detail, I had just received this response by Valve regarding my second time asking.

Hello Aaron,

The information available on the Steam Storefront is the only information available at this time.

Please refer to the Steam News section for the latest information on upcoming Steam titles and content.

Thank you for your interest.

Once again Valve refused to answer any questions regarding ACP 2 and send me information that really didn’t shed any light on when or if we will see the ACP 2 distrusted via Steam.

In member of this I created this little image, which sums up really how the responses from Valve had me feel.
