During the Xbox E3 2017 briefing, Phil Spencer, head of Xbox, announced the Xbox One X (formally code-named “Project Scorpio”). The new console, which plans to run games at 4 K UHD, won’t be cheap, as it will cost €499.

At the beginning of the Xbox E3 briefing, Phil Spencer, head of Xbox, talked about the performance of the Xbox One X as he explained the console would be a true 4K console with 12GB of GDDR5 RAM, 6 teraflop GPU, eight custom x86 core CPU and a 1TB hard drive. To keep the new console running smoothly the console will include a liquid-cooled vapour chamber to keep the console cool. It was also noted during the announcement that the Xbox One X will be the smallest Xbox ever, which is some achievement considering its power.

The Xbox One X will be available from November 7, 2017, and will cost €499. To entice potential players to the game, Xbox announced 22 console exclusive games.
