The upcoming free to play Ace Combat game Ace Combat Infinity, has received a new trailer. The new trailer gives fans a detailed look at its “innovative online cooperative mode”.

The trailer explains that the cooperative mode will see two teams of four players fight against a common enemy. The goal in the mode is to inflict the most damage to the common enemy. The best performing team will receive several bonuses. These bonuses are likely plane upgrades etc.

Ace Combat Infinity, just like Ace Combat Assault Horizon will be based on Earth. Previous Ace Combat games were based on Strangereal, an alternative version of Earth. However unlike Assault Horizon super weapons will be making a return, so be prepared to fight massively over the top planes.

Namco Bandai Games have also released ten new screenshots for Ace Combat Infinity.

Ace Combat Infinity will be available exclusively for the PlayStation 3. The game will be released later in 2013.
