Dark Souls Remastered announced, coming to Switch
Today, Bandai Namco Entertainment has announced Dark Souls Remastered, and that the remastered edition will mark the series debut on a Nintendo platform.
Dark Souls Remastered, developed by FromSoftware, is a remaster of Dark Souls a notoriously unforgiving action game that has left many players preparing to die repeatedly in an effort to numerous difficult enemies.
Dark Souls Remastered will be available on May 25, 2018, for Xbox One, PC, and on the Nintendo Switch (this marks the series debut on a Nintendo platform). The remastered edition will see the game receive a graphical upgrade with upscaled 4K resolution with 60FPS when playing on a PlayStation 4 Pro, Xbox One X and PC. The Nintendo Switch version will offer 1080p resolution with 30FPS while in docked/TV mode, unfortunately, there is no word as to what resolution or frame rate the handheld mode will receive.
