After several months of silence Bohemia Interactive has released 6 new screenshots and has revealed their plans for ARMA 3 in 2012.

In the most recent developers blog project lead Daniel Musil revealed that once again ARMA 3 will be showcased at both E3 and Gamescom Cologne.

After E3 2012 the first playable build of ARMA 3 will be opened up to the community. The playable build will be called ‘Community Alpha’ and it will enable people to try the game and help people shape the game.

In the developer blog it was also revealed that the studio plan to delay the release of ARMA 3. The delay will be used to focus on creating a feature-rich, polished and bug free experience.

At last year’s E3 I got a chance to take a look ARMA 3 and the game seems to be coming along well and will likely cement the ARMA series as the best realistic shooter on the PC.
