Today, Blizzard Entertainment has announced Foo Fighters will be headlining the closing concert at Blizzcon 2011 which takes place on October 21-22.

Previous headliners for the convention have included Ozzy Osbourne and Tenacious D.

Foo Fighters have won numerous Grammys awards awards and have iconic songs like “Everlong,” “My Hero,” “Learn to Fly”, “All My Life,” “Best of You,” and “The Pretender.”

Along with the Foo Fighters Blizzard’s own band “The Artists Formerly Known as Level 80 Elite Tauren Chieftain” will be opening up the concert with old and new songs for the crowd to enjoy.

Blizzcon is officially sold out, but like previous years you can watch the convention on pay per view with a virtual ticket via DIRECTV which will cost $39.99/£24.99/€29.99 for the 2 day event.
